Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift - (Batesville, IN)

Supervise second Shift Production Areas for Frames & Surface Sub Assembly Lines ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Other duties may be assigned: Provide a safe workplace atmosphere in the department; investigate accidents and potential accidents and implement countermeasures to eliminate recurrence. Implement / maintain a robust 5S program. Maintain outstanding communication with all employees. Track Gemba and other KPIs for analysis of wins and losses. Complete Root Cause Analysis and implement countermeasures for continuous improvement. Develop and train inspectors on proper measuring techniques to best optimize accuracy and efficiency. Oversee manufacturing Tech and engineers activities. Understand Hill-Roms quality system and document control procedures. Ensure that customer delivery requirements are met. Manage the department to meet cost targets and budget. Develop and foster a culture of continuous improvement by leading, coaching and supporting employees.
