Cost Engineer - (San Diego, CA)

MAIN FUNCTION: Work with the Project Controls Manager to ensure that the overall Project Control System provides valid, accurate and timely details to management. Provide overall project cost, estimating, progress measurement, and change management ability. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: In conjunction with the Project Controls Manager, monitor and control project controls systems and tools including: Cost Control / Forecasting methods for Vena Budgeting & Estimating Progress Measurement Other applicable processes and tools (ex. SAP PO Reporting, Ariba PO Tracking / Quickbase PO Forecasting) Support Project Controls Team and PM s with ongoing project cost analysis, reporting, forecasting, budgeting and Change Management. Assist in the development and documentation of Control Estimates, Change Orders and Budgets (annual and multi-year), and ensure that these products reflect the approved project design/execution scope Analyse cost and schedule trends, develop and review cost and schedule forecasts
