Job DescriptionWe have a great opportunity for a Medical Biller & Coder who is ICD-10 Certified to work in our National City location. Group provides promotion from within, strong benefits, and a team environment.Job responsibilities: Obtain referrals and pre-authorizations as required for procedures Check eligibility and benefit verification Review patient bills for accuracy and completeness and obtain any missing details Prepare, review, and transmit claims using billing software, including electronic and paper claim processing Knowledge of insurance guidelines, including HMO/PPO, Medicare, and state Medicaid is to be kept current at the expense of the biller/coder.
