Geotechnical Staff Engineer - (San Ramon, CA)

Position description Geosphere Consultants Inc. Geotechnical Engineer Geosphere Consultants Inc. is currently seeking to hire a Geotechnical Engineer based out of its office San Ramon, Ca office. Summary: A successful applicant will be responsible for preparing geotechnical proposals, writing reports and letters, performing engineering analyses, field logging and testing, and project management. This applicant will have a broad knowledge of construction materials and be technically skilled to review test and inspection details supplied by others. Position responsibilities Qualification qualifications: Required technical abilities: Slope stability analyses; Deep foundation analyses; Liquefaction analyses; Shallow foundations; Soil improvement; Settlement analyses; Expertise to review test reports and make comments; Familiar with AJTM test protocol; Understanding of the project management. Other duties may be assigned as deemed necessary.
