MUST HAVE CEMENT INDUSTRY BACKGROUND Summary: Under the direction of the Operations Manager, the Process Engineer provides process-engineering support to plant operations to ensure process optimization. Responsibilities of the Process Engineer: Develop standard operating procedures and process control plans and recommends operational/control changes. Collate data, establish process correlations, and develop process flow sheets for capital projects. Provide info to the Production Manager to ensure max process equipment capacity usage. Requirements of the Process Engineer: Prefer 5 (5) years of cement manufacturing plant background in the Production, Maintenance and Quality Control departments Good knowledge of accepted cement plant practices Strong knowledge of cement plant equipment and manufacturing processes Principles of preventative and predictive maintenance
