Underground Electrician - (Nye, MT)

This position will function as a maintenance electrician. Main responsibilities include maintaining a safe and productive workplace environment; assisting, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all electrical, electronic and instrumentation systems, including high, medium, and low voltage circuits; AIR CONDITIONER and DC motors and associated variable speed drives; all types of electronic instrumentation; and PLC's, and the documentation related to them. As a secondary function, you may be required to assist with the plant distributive control system (DCS), surface mechanical work and the underground electrical crews as assigned by supervision. REQUIREMENTS, KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/BACKGROUND: Required: 2-three years electrical background required Electrical maintenance or electrical construction background with skills necessary to meet applicable task proficiency matrix Must be able to read electrical schematics Working understanding of NFPA 70E and NEC electrical standards
