Medical Technologist - Blood Bank - Full Time Days - (Lebanon, IN)

Medical Technologist Witham Health Services is looking for a full-time day shift Medical Technologist for the Clinical Lab, primarily in the Blood Bank. Strong Blood Bank background desired and will work with all staff and nursing for education. In the Lab, you would be responsible for tests that may be performed in Hematology, Clinical Chemistry, Microbiology, Blood Bank, Serology, or Urinalysis. Duties include the professional application of the principles, theories, and techniques of Medical Technology are used to produce reliable test results, which aid the physician in diagnosis and treatment. This position is responsible for the performance of routine and advanced testing procedures and is accountable for accurate results and proper use of quality control materials. As a Medical Technologist, you would also be responsible for recognizing the interdependence of tests and the conditions that affect test results. Bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory science preferred.
