Job DescriptionHOME LENDING ASSOCIATEIsland's Home Lending Associate FT will undergo an extensive training program to learn all the duties and responsibilities of a Home Lending Officer.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:During the extensive training program, the employee will learn and become proficient in the following areas: Evaluating and reviewing mortgage products and the qualification process, rates, and payment, etc.; determining candidates’ expertise to qualify, estimating closing costs and cash qualifications. Following progress until the mortgage is closed. Interacting extensively with member, attorney, and associated agencies. Basic knowledge of maintaining escrow accounts, (making deposits to and withdrawing payments from), on computer software. Compiling escrow details to prepare annual escrow analysis. Ensuring tax payments are disbursed in a timely manner to the appropriate municipality. Ensuring issuance of all mortgage loan satisfactions.
