Job DescriptionJob Title: Claims Total Loss Adjuster Department: ClaimsReports To: Total Loss Unit SupervisorStatus: Non-Exempt Summary: A successful Total Loss Adjuster will be responsible for evaluating, negotiating and resolving 1st and 3rd party auto physical damage claims. This includes communicating with insureds and claimants as well as gathering and sending out appropriate total loss documents to 1st and 3rd parties, and securing the necessary documents from insureds, claimants and lien holders. Responsibilities: Review policy to ensure appropriate coverage is in force Run CCC valuations Contact vehicle owners for release of vehicles and scheduling pickup of Salvage Complete total loss breakdown sheet and submit for approval Make settlement offers to Registered Owner Mail out appropriate total loss documents to Registered Owner and/or lien holder Secure properly signed total loss documents from Register Owner and Letter of Guarantee from lien holder Issue payment to resolve total loss Submit file to
