Epidemiologist - Safety Management - (Newark, NJ)

Duties: 1. Reviews the literature (narrative review), performs simple analyses in cancer registries and summarizes epidemiologic info on safety risks and diseases including comorbidities: for Safety Management Teams' safety topics evaluation; for the epidemiological sections of documents for the Health Authorities, including but not restricted to Health Authority requests, RMPs, Safety Update reports 2. Generates systematic reviews using best practice methodologies to evaluate published evidence 3. Provides commentaries on manuscripts and publications of epidemiological studies of importance to Company 4. Maintains knowledge/ability of existing epidemiological data sources which may be suitable to address issues involving safety of products and identification of characteristics of study populations 5. Works in close collaboration with the company epidemiologist(s). Skills: 1. Masters degree or comparable in epidemiology
