Buyer/Scheduler - (Cleveland, OH)

Buyer/Scheduler Position details: The buyer/scheduler position will support raw material inventory by planning raw material purchases and working closely with the department supervisor to collaborate on the optimum production schedule. Key functions: Act as the liaison between suppliers, engineering and manufacturing and shop floor personnel Develop vendor(s) to JIT raw material delivery Track year-over-year cost reductions Create optimum production schedule for departments Reconcile 3 way match between PO, Invoice, Receipt Work with production supervisor(s) on cycle counts Optimize raw material inventory Work together with Area Supervisor and Director of Supply Chain on setup reduction, run sequence, and scheduling improvements Work with production team for optimal run quantities, taking into account both inventory value, and production time.
