Job description The Office Manager is a leader and an integral part of the veterinary hospital management team. The Office Manager partners with the Veterinarian to provide a smooth and profitable operation by driving revenue and managing costs while creating a friendly, hospital environment based on high-quality patient care and exceptional customer service. Assignments include but are not limited to: Managing the day to day operations of the hospital Scheduling both doctors and staff in a paper-light environment A/R and A/P, using Quick Books Personnel management, including hiring, training, reviews, and disciplinary action of staff Scheduling and conducting staff meetings and continuing-ed meetings Ensuring payroll is accurately completed and submitted Overseeing hospital inventory and controlling facility costs Implement hospital policies, including DEA/Controlled Substances, OSHA compliance
