Housekeeping Inspector - (New Albany, IN)

Assist management in providing safe, decent, and sanitary homes and reducing the number of evictions by providing services that prevent damages to NAHA units due to poor housekeeping as well as to check units for safe living conditions. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND Assignments include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Notify and inspect all NAHA units. Inspector may also be asked to do vacant unit inspections for the purpose of making a work order to outline the repairs needed to make the unit ready to rent. Provide notice of need to cure deficiencies in housekeeping using NAHA protocol. Provide all managers with results of inspections and follow-up visits. Notify managers and maintenance of any damages or need for repair to units. Develop and follow a schedule for annual housekeeping inspections. Work with managers to provide appropriate documentation of non-compliance with the program. Be prepared to testify in court as needed. Update and maintain the NAHA move in manual.
