Program Instructor - Dance/Tumbling - Bett Family Y - (Bettendorf, IA)

The Program Instructor will provide enjoyable, high-quality and safe dance/tumbling/cheer classes to YMCA members and program participants. Serves as a positive and wholesome role model to all participants and other staff in accordance with the policies and procedures of the Scott County Family Y. KEY FUNCTIONS: 1. Serve as a role model to members and Y staff and live the YMCA mission, vision and values of the YMCA movement. 2. Provide "extraordinary" member service and responsiveness to members needs. 3. Maintain equipment and insure good housekeeping before, during and after class reporting all concerns. 4. Exhibit teaching and leadership skills. 5. Able to develop, plan and implement dance/gymnastic programs that provide age appropriate skill learning. 6. Model and enforce facility policies and put the Y mission in action. 7. Report any accidents, concerns or equipment troubles immediately. Complete and file incident reports with appropriate supervisor.
