Shop Laborer - Metal Finishing - Weekend Shift - (Alexandria, MN)

POSITION DETAILS: With diminishing assistance and direction, provides support service to line operators. Works in Painting and/or Plating departments. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & Assignments include the following: Follow proper safety procedures, be knowledgeable about related safety devices and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (P.P.E.). Maintain a clean and hazard free work area. Learn racking techniques that optimize part quality and quantity. Must have expertise to build racks to optimize quantity of new product. Maintain job segregation where necessary. Understand and use proper post-plating procedures for rinsing and drying. Follow inspection and packaging procedures.
