Legal Assistant / Paralegal - (Lewiston, ME)

Berman & Simmons is seeking a hardworking, bright, and energetic legal professional to play a major role of support in the areas of medical malpractice and mass torts. This is a new position requiring a combination of legal assistant and paralegal skills. The perfect applicant should have 2-four years of background in mass tort law, but we will consider ability in other injury law and federal filings. Also required are a BA in English or related position and a strong desire to succeed in a busy team. Assignments include calendaring, transcription, case management, medical records organization and chronology, investigative research, discovery & trial preparation.
