Asbestos Litigation ParalegalThe applicant will manage all aspects of asbestos case management including the discovery process, trial preparation, tracking and communicating case related dates/deadlines and details. Will review and preparation of documents, reports and correspondence. Conduct research to support legal proceedings. Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents. Investigate facts to help in the negotiation of legal disputes. Record and store client details. Prior paralegal background in a litigation environment, including background with client intake and case organizational skills, is highly desired. Asbestos litigation (plaintiff side) background is strongly preferred. A strong team member, as well as the expertise to work on independent projects. The expertise to adapt to change; work autonomously with minimal supervision; and work under strict deadlines. Self-motivated, exercising sound judgment, demonstrating good time-management and teamwork skills is needed.
