Job DescriptionThe principal responsibility of this position will be the purchasing and scheduling of raw materials (chemicals, packaging, filters, etc.) for a Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) manufacturer. Implement a sourcing strategy that maximizes value while managing the supply risk.The successful applicant must have the expertise to analyze supplier proposals, and negotiate the most advantageous terms. Expertise to source raw materials worldwide. Attend project team meetings and resolve any procurement issues that may negatively impact the program. Ensure compliance with regulatory qualifications. This position will work as part of the purchasing team to ensure timely and cost efficient delivery of quality raw materials for the manufacturing team and as such may back-up other purchasing functions as required.REQUIRMENTS: Bachelor's degree required. A min of 3 (3) years of related skills or an equivalent combination of education and background is required.
