Senior Coordinator of Aquatics - (Minneapolis, MN)

The Senior Coordinator of Lifeguard and Safety provides daily direction and supervision for Lifeguards and Safety staff. The incumbent assists the Program Manager in meeting established participation and revenue goals. The incumbent hires, trains and supervises staff. Requirements: Required Min of 2 (2) years of background working in Aquatics programs Min of six months supervisory background Effective verbal and written correspondence abilities Good management skills Proficient technical skills to include Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft word and Microsoft excel Nationally accredited lifeguard, CPR/PR, 1st Aid, AED, and Oxygen certifications (within 30 days of hire) Expertise to attend and complete YMCA Swim Lesson Instructor training within 90 days of hire Expertise to manage and deliver programs to a diverse population Requirements: Preferred Degree in Recreation, Management, physical education or related position.
