Senior Storage Administrator - (Irvine, CA)

Our client, a global provider of investment management services, is in need of a Senior Storage Engineer on a contract basis. Position details: -Maintains storage systems and procedures. -Maintains efficient and reliable backup and recovery procedures. -Troubleshoots and supports the organization's storage systems. -Creates and reviews reports on storage usage. -Experienced with operating systems and Storage Area Networks (SAN) and backup solutions. -Requires at least 7yrs of background. Key skills: - NetApp Storage Administration - Knowledge of Icolon and data domains - Able to read pearl based scripts - Able to analyze data and pull the needed details - Knowledge of Shell scripting - Knowledge of Python coding Desired skills: - Self-starter and willing to take initiative - Manage team schedules and able to work under pressure - Familiarity with a Windows remote desktop environment - Detail Oriented
