Senior Desktop Engineer - (Wilmington, NC)

This Senior Desktop Engineer position will engineer and implement advanced desktop solutions for existing and emerging applications and technologies for compatibility and business alignment. Continually researches & develops innovative technology. * Assesses, packages, tests, deploys and properly documents all software patches, updates, and new software installations into the IT infrastructure. * Manages and maintains desktop administration tools to include asset inventory, remote control, software license management, computer diagnostics and virtualization technology. * Administers and maintains desktop imaging systems to include ongoing enhancements, modifications and software upgrades. * Provides cross-departmental desktop engineering consulting and application support. * Provides third level troubleshooting and support to global users. * Provides training on desktop processes, procedures and tools.
