Project Design Engineer - (Bartlett, IL)

Senior Flexonics, a leading manufacturer in the metal fabrication industry, seeks a Project Design Engineer with an entrepreneurial hands on approach for its Bartlett, IL operations. Required responsibilities: Coordinate and develop product prototypes, test and validate products to meet or exceed customers’ engineering performance and physical envelope qualifications. Work with customer to move an engineering problem from the customers’ desk to initial design through a development cycle to production launch resolving all engineering issues. Complete all calculations and simulations to verify performance of product, evaluate design for manufacturability and potential for similar applications. Establish time table, project milestones and cost projection for developmental cycle. Responsible for leading teams to ensure a successful project launch. Work with Purchasing and Quality to identify component supplier capable of supporting production and fabrication.
