SQL Server DB Engineer No corp corp - (Alpharetta, GA)

6+ months contract This person will be dealing with design work, build work ( servers, availability groups) will be doing patching and updates. There will be a Maintenance windows (where they will handle updates and patches, disaster recovery, New releases They will also have go lives as well. Windows can be anywhere from (10pm-6am) , Sundays ( Normally 2-6pm) and will not require the applicant to be in the office the next day after these. Prior background with the following is preferred: SQL Clustering, Strong Transact-SQL & MS Data Transformation Services (DTS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) knowledge, Replication, Performance Tuning, Backup and recovery methods, Log shipping, Database Mirroring, Database capacity planning, and Users and Role creation and monitoring. • Background in 3rd party tools like Quest Software SQL Lite Speed, Quest Software Spotlight, Quest Fog light and Quest Fog light Performance Analysis.
