Manager, Terminal - (Forest Park, GA)

Position overview Essential Duties / Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of the cement terminals, including management of employees, manage costs, keep terminals clean and in compliance related to environmental issues. Manage inventories to avoid stock outs and or demurrage. Responsible for process improvements. Foster teamwork, open communication and cooperation across functional boundaries. Plan, develop and implement strategies to maximize production and reduce costs. Responsible for quality, safety and service. Responsible for staffing of plant to ensure operational efficiency. Position responsibilities * Previous background supervising front-line employees. * 5 yrs of cement terminal background highly preferred * Demonstrated people skills; expertise to motivate, coach and develop employees. * Bachelors degree preferred. * Strong written and verbal communications skills; expertise to effectively interface with employees at all levels.
