This position collects, analyzes, and disseminates health data and trends which helps local governments and health care providers make decisions and plans to improve people's health and reduce disparities in efforts to improve the health of their communities. MQs: Requires equivalency of a Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred) in public health, nursing, sociology, business, informatics, public administration, or related position and 2 years' background in public health, informatics, program evaluation, or systems/process analysis demonstrating competence in the use of a range of analysis tools (e.g. business intelligence tools; routine or ad hoc reports; Statistical Analysis System (SAS), Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS); geographical info systems (GIS). 1 must possess a valid driver's license.
