Electrical Engineer - Transmission Planning - (Grand Forks, ND)

Electrical Engineer - Transmission Planning Minnkota Power Cooperative is seeking applicants who are qualified for the position of Electrical Engineer within the Power Delivery Planning group located in our Grand Forks, ND offices. This position is responsible for:" Performing power system studies of existing and proposed generation and transmission facilities using power flow, short circuit, and dynamic stability analysis techniques." Writing study reports and making verbal presentations of study results." Supporting queue and tariff processes for interconnection and delivery service requests." Supporting and serving on internal and external committees, task forces, and working groups. Job mandates, at min, a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university and EIT certification. Background in transmission and interconnection issues and background with PSS/E analysis software, knowledge of NERC reliability standards and transmission tariffs are a plus.
