Job DescriptionJob SummaryNew French Bakery, division of Rise Baking Company is seeking a qualified Maintenance Mechanic for our bakery manufacturing environment.We run a fast-paced production plant in Minneapolis which produces over 60,000 lbs of bread daily. We have a brand-new production line and new production equipment which requires excellent mechanical and technical abilities.Critical functions: Troubleshoot/repair electrical problems of plant and packaging/processing equipment such as wiring, circuits, fuses, switches, electrical installations, transformers, motors and AIR CONDITIONER/DC motor drivers. Troubleshoot/repair electronic problems on plant packaging/processing equipment. Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment. Design/fabricate replacement parts or equipment: weld, lathe, mill, presses, grinders, repair equipment. Provide maintenance and operator training. Use computerized maintenance system for history and parts inventory; purchase/request replacement parts when necessary.
