An on-line education provider is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommute Advanced Placement Social Studies High-school Teacher.Must be able to: Provide students with rich and targeted feedback Learn curriculum of assigned course/s Take ownership for student academic progress and show an active interest in student achievement Critical skills: Participate in a comprehensive new teacher training program for 3 weeks before the start of school Required to be currently certified in Massachusetts with an AP Social Studies endorsement listed on their teaching license Must have HQT status in their state and to maintain this certification for the duration of their employment Min 6 (6) months of student teaching background Proficient in Excel, Ms word, and Outlook Background in a customer service environment
