Communications/Project Coordinator - (Spokane, WA)

The Communication / Project Coordinator is responsible to the Assistant Director, Finance and Business. This position works with the University and department stakeholders to support a social media, public relations and marketing strategy that informs, and helps to generate events, meetings, conferences and camps to the GUEST (Gonzaga University Event Service Team) and the University. The position stays abreast of the latest trends, activities of top influencers, competitors and provides informed feedback to the departmental team. The Communication / Project Coordinator collaboratively creates a variety of engaging, timely and accurate communications in appropriate platforms for targeted audiences. This position monitors sites for customer service opportunities and initiate conversations on behalf of GUEST. The position is required to serve as an ambassador of GUEST by representing the organization at designated events when required.
