A/R Rep - Insurance Specialist - (Stuart, FL)

Job overview: Using NextGen functionality, manages and monitors patient account balances. Responds to inquiries from carrier. Works tasks and reports. Resubmits denied claims and files appeals as necessary following established guidelines. Monitors carrier claims patterns, researches from online resources any applicable updates and changes in rules. Identifies uncollectible accounts. Background/Background: Prior medical Accounts Receivable background required, preferably for physician group, and orthopaedics. Solid current knowledge of Medicare, commercial insurance, Workers Compensation. Must have background with EMR/PM fully integrated software, and be an analytical thinker and good problem solver. Physical qualifications: Primarily sedentary, sitting. Use of computer keyboard, telephone, scanner, copier Periodic lifting, stooping, carrying less than 25 pounds.SDL2017
