Director, Business Insurance Underwriting Audit - (Cockeysville, MD)
Primary Job requirements & Responsibilities Oversees the management, development and execution of the underwriting audit functions for the business. Build and maintain relationships with underwriting regional management and staff, with a key focus on educating and developing the underwriting staff. Works closely with the Business Unit Underwriting leadership at the Home Office and Field level. Leads Quality Assurance Reviews for assigned business unit. Oversees the coordination of underwriting quality assurance schedules; ensures appropriate size and scope of file sample; ensures adequate files are reviewed; responsible for selection and leadership of a diverse review team. Manages day-to-day quality assurance schedules, follows up on Field Level Reviews, and compiles review results. Approx 10-15% travel involved. Maintains consistency for underwriting quality assurance functions and results across the business.
