Postdoctoral Research Associate in Advanced STEM Characterization / NB50650181 - (Oak Ridge, TN)

Purpose: We are seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate to focus on the mechanical behavior of materials at the nanoscale level, investigate the morphological changes of catalysts during their life cycle, and work with a team to develop advanced electron microscopy analysis methods. While this position is based in our Electron Microscopy (EM) group, you'll collaborate with a diverse group of experimentalists,theorists, and data scientists across different organizations within Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL). This position resides within the Materials Science and Technology Division (MSTD), Physical Sciences Directorate at ORNL.OVERVIEW: As a postdoc, you will support the 2 projects indicated above while advancing data acquisition and data analysis methods for electron microscopy.
