Kyowa Kirin Pharmaceutical Research, a wholly owned subsidiary of Kyowa Hakko Kirin, is seeking a highly motivated Ph.D. level Immunologist with demonstrated technical and analytical competence to support the discovery of novel therapeutics for autoimmune and inflammatory diseases. Highly candidates who are qualified must demonstrate an aptitude for project leadership, therapeutic target selection and a thorough understanding of fundamental immunological processes. Essential Duties and Assignments include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Leads or co-leads a project team in the role of Project Leader with assumed responsibility for validation of the target and successful delivery of an optimized lead applicant molecule for therapeutic development. Develops research proposals for new projects from both internal sources and external partners; provides expert insight on feasibility of prospective projects. Establishes daily or weekly routines necessary to meet project timelines and advancement.
