QA/EHS Coordinator - (Suffolk, VA)

TITLE: Quality/EHS Coordinator GRADE: six PAY RANGE: SCHEDULE: $16.22 - $22.07/hour, second shift $1.00/hour differential, third shift $0.65/hour differential Monday Friday, first shift (7am 3:30pm) second shift (3pm -11:30pm) third shift (11pm 7:30am) PURPOSE: To perform a variety of duties including ensuring that the quality of our products is of the highest standard and meets and/or exceeds all specifications for our customers. SAFETY: Maintain a safety awareness attitude in daily performance of their assigned task and to be alert to the safety of fellow employees. REQUIRED FUNCTIONS * Inspects and tests products for quality defects in the manufacturing process and reports issues and concerns to various departments. * Ensures all equipment, guards and safety devices are in place at all times and follows safe work procedures and safety rules. * Performs continual quality control checks to ensure product is running within specifications.
