Operations Accountant - (Roseville, CA)

Summary: The Operations Accountant will be responsible for providing support and subject matter ability to Payroll, Billing, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable as well as Financial Software and Accounting vendors. This position will also be accountable for entering A/P, answering tax and accounting questions and performing journal entries for the GL related to payroll and billing. Key functions: Performs accounting and clerical functions to support supervisors which may include: A/P, Administrative Payroll Processing and A/R. Handles escalated issues and communicates with clients and other external vendors to provide resolution. Prepares and updates required tax provision schedules and reporting in a timely manner. Supports recommendations on the impact of new laws on tax liabilities. Ensures payments for FlexCare LLC are processed in a timely and accurate manner. Verifies accuracy of A/P batch output to ensure correct vendor coding, resulting in reduction in vendor reclassification.
