RPO Field Security Architect/Application Security Engineer - (Dallas, TX)

Please note: There is a strong preference to have this position located in Dallas, TX. Other potential locations include Atlanta, GA, Minneapolis, MN, or Kansas City, MO. Position overview: The Field Security Architect will work together with the product and software engineering team to perform threat modeling, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests for software, systems, and architecture to identify and confirm security control points required to mitigate vulnerabilities in the application technology and development stack. This starts with the execution of a secure coding strategy for development teams within the Retail Payments Office (RPO) of the Federal Reserve System. The successful applicant will work together with developers to diagnose, document, and remediate application security vulnerabilities. Additional job requirements include analysis of business impact and exposure potential based on emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and risks.
