Senior Storage Architect - (Huntsville, AL)

Job DescriptionThe Senior Storage Architect will maintain smooth operation of multi-user computer systems in coordination with network engineers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Monitor and manage system resources, including CPU usage, disk usage, and response times to maintain operating efficiency Perform systems security administration functions, including creating user profiles and accounts Create administrator accounts, maintain system documentation, tuning system performance, install system wide software and allocating mass storage space Interact with users and evaluate vendor products Coordinate installations and provide backup recovery Develop and monitor policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources Non-Essential Duties: Other duties as assigned Supervisory Responsibilities: May be assigned responsibility for the management of systems administration function
