Engineering Services Manager - (Augusta, GA)

DESCRIPTION Manages and leads a team of engineers, technicians and inspectors as they plan, design, review and administer water and sanitary sewer construction and/or improvements within the guidelines of Augusta-Richmond County and departmental procedures and regulations, surveying principles and practices, and water and sanitary sewer regulations. Responsible for managing the development of solutions to complete design, engineering and construction challenges. Works with co-workers, engineers, developers, contractors, utility agencies and the public to provide technical support. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Develops, analyzes, and participates in conceptual planning efforts. Designs and develops plans, specifications and cost estimates. Directs the collection of field data for design. Reviews, signs and approves in-house design plans and specifications * Manages and leads design engineers and project managers.
