Supply Chain Planner - (Melrose Park, IL)

Job DescriptionFunctions/Responsibilities:Under the general supervision of the Supply Chain Leader – Process Excellence, the Planner is responsible for all planning functions within supply chain (inbound qualifications, manufacturing process orders, outbound shipments, import/export consolidation, inventory management) and connectivity to non-supply chain functions (customer order fulfillment, operations, finance) are within the scope of the role. The Supply Chain Planner as part of the process excellence responsibilities will engage with employees at all levels of the organization to define, document, train and promote process excellence in supply chain related functions..The Planner is a key contributor toward achieving a world class, robust supply chain utilizing SAP and other relevant tools to gain visibility, agility and connectivity throughout Sun Chemical. Driving the utilization of simplified/standardized processes for all Supply Chain functions will be critical to the role.
