REGISTERED RESPIRATORY THERAPIST (Respiratory) Part-time - 7a-7p () Description: Position overview\: A graduate or registered Respiratory Therapist is an individual who practices under medical supervision and delivers respiratory care services to most areas of the hospital. Essential Duties\: Assess, treat, evaluate and monitor patients with various disorders of the cardiopulmonary system. Expertise to use appropriate equipment for mechanical ventilation and airway support. Special duties as required including patient and family educationQualification: Education\: Graduate of accredited Respiratory Therapy School. Min A.S. or A.A.S required and B.S. preferred Background\: A min of six months recent ICU and ER background required. Proficient in all patient care areas (i.e. ICU, ER and floor) License/Certification\: TN Licensure with ABG endorsement Registered Respiratory Therapist by the National Board for Respiratory Care American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
