RESPIRATORY THERAPIST REG/CERT, (SV HOT SPRINGS), RESPIRATORY CARE, PR Description: JOB SUMMARY\: In accordance with our mission and core values and under the supervision of a physician, the Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) may assume clinical responsibility for those respiratory care modalities involving all age groups for which the individual has demonstrated an acceptable level of competency and background. The CRT's role shall not require the exercising of independent, clinical judgment; however, the CRT may be expected to adjust or modify therapeutic techniques within well-defined procedures based on a limited range of patient responses within the General Care Areas. The CRT may assume clinical responsibility in the Diagnostic, Neonatal, and Adult Critical Care areas as individually competent. The CRT may be enlisted to serve as proctor to students and new employees for orientation and competency assessment purposes.
