Quality Control Technician - (Wingdale, NY)

Position overview The PII Quality Control Technician is an essential component of the quality control program. The quality control program is designed to ensure continuous production of products (e.g. hot mix asphalt, liquid asphalt, cold mix asphalt, crushed stone, sand and gravel) consistent with State, Federal and local specifications by performing the duties listed below.QCT’s should have, or will be required to obtain, a QCT Certification from a NYSDOT accredited program. QCT’s should have good technical skills (Ms word, Ms excel) and will be expected to have good mechanical knowledge of our plant facilities and operations.Essential Duties and Assignments include the following: Reliably perform all required tests as referenced in the Procedures section of PII’s Quality Control Program. Strive to produce the highest quality material in the most cost effective manner. Achieve and maintain familiarity with the operation of all production equipment and facilities.
