Technology Analyst (Programmer Analyst) - Monetary Affairs - (Washington, DC)

The Technology Analyst possesses some ability, may act as a project lead, and performs technical analyses of large-scale systems. The analyst is responsible for the design, implementation, support, and maintenance of automation, computing, and database systems essential to carrying out the responsibilities and daily activities of Division or Board staff. The analyst uses initiative and resourcefulness in solving problems and in developing new procedures. The Money Market Analysis (MMA) section of the Division of Monetary Affairs is looking for a technology analyst to assist in the maintenance and development of internal projection models. The successful applicant will be hired into the Federal Reserve Board's technical job family, and will work with a team of economists, financial analysts and other developers to provide coding and subject-matter ability as it relates to economic and financial analytic/model development using R, Python, Matlab, and PostgreSQL.
