The successful applicant in this position will provide sustaining engineering and new designs with associated documentation for the land mobile radio, microwave radio, tower equipment, and related systems for the Department and twenty other state agencies. Responsible for performing radio frequency engineering and obtainingmaintaining spectrum authorizations. Perform other related duties as required. Current knowledge of electrical engineering theory as applied to wireless communication systems and technology. Working expertise of communication system architecture design Current expertise of signal processing, statistics, optimization, networking, and radio frequency design Spectrum management and upgrading radio frequency authorizations. Skill in the operation of computers to include Ms office Professional suite. Demonstrated expertise to interpret technical materials and diagrams. Demonstrated expertise to develop technical solutions to complex problems.
