Job overview Accounting Supervisor (Operations) is responsible for daily activities in all of the organization's accounting functions, which mainly include cost and general accounting, capital project tracking, reclamation cost review and equipment cost allocations. Serves as a consultant for managers within the organization, advising them of current financial info and working with managers to support a fiscal strategy that aligns with the goals of Westmoreland. Supervisor Responsibilities This position has supervisory responsibilities over other employees. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Oversees the management of mine accounting and develops policies and processes to ensure timely, accurate and complete financial details for the mines * Maintains the organization's general ledger, tracking assets, liabilities, expenses, and revenues.
