Entry-level water distribution system tech - (Asheville, NC)

The Woodfin Sanitary Water & Sewer District is now accepting applications for a full time entry-level distribution system technician. Work consists of repairing, maintaining and installing water lines, meters, valves, and other jobs of a similar nature as may be assigned. Starting pay for this position is $13.46 hourly. Benefits are excellent and include District-paid medical, dental, and vision coverage, state retirement pension, paid vacation and more. Background is not necessary but mechanical aptitude, a strong work ethic and a desire to learn are essential.
