Early Childhood Specialist - Cumberland County - (Chicago, IL)

Position overview : The Early Childhood Specialist will have a strong experience in early childhood development and an understanding of the parent-child relationship. T hey will work with local partners and families with developmental concerns and/or child welfare involvement to ensure positive service linkages that improve outcomes for vulnerable families of infants and young children. Employment Status: Works full time within Cumberland, Gloucester and Salem Central Intake. This position necessitates a bachelor's degree, an acceptable driving history and use of an insured vehicle. Essential skills and Abilities Experience in maternal-child health (MCH), infant/early childhood mental health, parent/family support, and/or related fields and settings. Bachelor's degree required Strong people skills with the expertise to develop trusting relationships with families and partners Fully understands the roles of core MCH and early childhood partners
