Campaign Representative, Beyond Coal Michigan - (Detroit, MI)

Position title: Campaign Representative (Beyond Coal Michigan) Department: Program Location: Detroit, MI or Lansing, MI Reports To: Deputy Regional Campaign Director - East Region Context: Plans and guides the strategies and activities of the Beyond Coal campaign to transition utilities from coal to clean energy in Michigan. Scope: The Campaign Representative is responsible for the planning, coordination and implementation of the Beyond Coal campaign strategies and activities in Michigan, and as assigned. Collaborates with various internal departments, programs, strategic external partners, coalitions, state chapter and volunteer leadership to ensure execution of strategic coordinated campaigns to move Michigan off of coal to 100% renewable energy and energy efficiency, with no new natural gas infrastructure and increasing electrification of transportation and the building sector. Ensures strategic alignment of the state campaign with regional and national goals and objectives.
