Job summary: * Actively support a culture of safety which includes, but is not limited to, food safety, Team player safety and customer safety. - Display a commitment to learn about food and share food knowledge with fellow teammates and customers. - Finalize sale and collect payment by totaling order, deducting for coupons, and accepting tender from customer. - Demonstrate a willingness to learn, understand, and communicate the Market District Passion for Food philosophy, which includes the willingness to taste and background new product offerings. - Actively participate in, and promote, an environment which embraces diversity, inclusion, and respect for Teammates, Customers, Vendors, and the Community. - Bagging orders by putting grocery orders into the appropriate bags and then into customers carts. - Responsible for controlling some expense within a department. - Provide active sampling opportunities, when appropriate.
