Job DescriptionOur client, a family-owned manufacturing company in Northeast San Antonio, is looking for a CNC Machinist for a longterm, evaluation-hire opportunity. Pay is $15-$20 an hour depending on background. The company is looking for someone to become part of the family. It’s a great opportunity to join a close-knit community. The job mandates both thinking through an assembly/fabrication plan and production welding of multiple products. Duties for the CNC Machinist position include: Interpreting dimensions on a print Utilizing precision measuring devices Performing basic math calculations Programming and Operating CNC Machining CentersRequirements for the CNC Machinist position are: High-school diploma or GED equivalent At least four years’ previous background in set and operation of CNC multi-axis lathes, 4-axis horizontal milling and vertical milling.
